Lucent is proud to be supporting The Stewart Collective Fete,
a one-day celebration of nature and neighbourhood
taking place in Brunswick East on Saturday 16 February.
The community fete promotes the work of local designers and artists,
and features a series of adult and child-friendly creative workshops.
Live music plus food and coffee offerings round out a great day out.
The fun-filled workshops include the chance to work alongside designer
Beci Orpin to make eco-based nature mobiles, weaving and fibre sculpting
classes with Maryanne Moodie, and native-flora painting classes with Dawn Tan.
The Rhythm Tree is running a family-friendly movement and music class, while
The Plant Society will teach participants all the basics for nurturing indoor
plants.
Throughout the day, guests will be able to get their caffeine hit from Royal
Road Coffee and enjoy delicious eating experiences with all-day tacos from
the Taco Truck, and more.
Guests will also be able to browse a range of stalls selling a variety of
sustainably created items including ceramics, pottery, succulents, clothing
and pet accessories.
The fete is suitable for all ages and four-legged friends will also be welcome.
Entry into the fete is free with costs varying per workshop. Bookings are essential
for the workshops and can be found with further event information at the links below.
The Stewart Collective will be a community of sustainability-focused homes designed by
ClarkeHopkinsClarke with interiors by Austin Maynard Architects. With Lucent leading
the project, the development aims to bring high-quality, affordable and environmentally
sustainable living to East Brunswick.
